Parc Mayenne is set in the wonderful countryside of the Haute Mayenne area of the Upper Loire. There are 31 acres of gently rolling hills with over half a mile of the Mayenne River running through the site and many homes on the parc have fantastic views across the valley into the rolling Normande countryside.

The parc has been carefully landscaped with hundreds of newly-planted trees and shrubs; each owner is able to choose a landscaping plan for individual plots.

Parc Mayenne is set in a lovely area with delightful country towns and historic villages waiting to be explored. The countryside around the site is picture-book Normandy, with its undulating meadowland, numerous deciduous forests and fast-flowing rivers.

Lassay-les Chateaux is to be found 4 miles from Parc Mayenne, it is a bustling little town with street-side cafes and restaurants, banks and supermarkets etc whist a 10 min drive from the parc takes you to the beautiful spa town of Bagnoles de l’Orne, famed for its health Spas, Art Deco buildings, lake and casino. Nestled in the heart of “Suisse Normande” area, Bagnoles de l’Orne is an enchanting town, a perfect place to unwind at any time of the year.

The town centres around a lake with adjacent landscaped gardens and water fountains. The popular 1930s-style Casino overlooks the lake and offers lots of entertainment. It is quite different from anywhere else in the region and its thermal waters attract visitors from all over France. Spa treatments include hydro-massaging baths, clay body-wrapping, hot stones body modelling and thermal water spraying; all wonderful for the skin and general well-being.

There are many outdoor sports facilities nearby including the 9 hole golf course at Bagnoles, located in the most wonderful woodland setting.
