Camping du Port de Plaisance, South Brittany- Open May to Sept

Camping du Port de Plaisance is a high quality 4* Yelloh Village parc situated within a 10 minute walk of the prestigious seaside resort of Benodet. This pretty town is located on the mouth of the River Odet and is one of the most popular seaside resorts in the area. Here you can enjoy the large sandy beach, edged with cafes and restaurants. Boat trips to the glorious Glenan islands, shopping at the weekly markets and dining in one of the numerous seafront restaurants are all favourites with our guests.
Port de Plaisance is a family run campsite with 380 emplacements set out across this former cider orchard. Mobile homes are set amongst carefully landscaped trees and shrubs. Each emplacement is spacious and grassy, with plenty of room for a good sized deck and space for the car.
Indoor Swimming Pool
On site facilities include the new indoor swimming complex, complete with Jacuzzi and sun terrace. It has become a major attraction for families as it offers all-weather facilities. The on-site shop serves fresh baguettes and croissants on a morning and the contemporary bar and restaurant are both popular with guests.
Owners and their guests can enjoy the use of all facilities on site including huge indoor pool complex with sun terrace, reserved solely for the use of campsite guests. The parc is popular with holidaymakers from across Europe, however English is spoken throughout. Potential for sub-letting if desired.
The on-site reception staff are always happy to help, whether it is getting the latest weather update, finding a new restaurant or advice on day trips.

The site is within 2 minutes walk from the Odet estuary, with tranquil walks and cycle rides which meander along the river banks towards the marina and town centre, with many beach front restaurants overlooking the sparkling white sandy beach.
Take time to watch the many boats sailing from the marina and during summer months enjoy a full programme of live music ranging from traditional Breton to national acts.
The park is easily accessible from the UK by ferry or flight, just a 90 minute drive from the ferry terminal at Roscoff and 60 minutes from Brest airport.

The campsite is within walking distance from Benodet beach and just a 5 minute drive from glorious acres of quiet sandy beaches and exhilarating cliff top walks. Kermor plage is a family favourite.
Just outside of Benodet you will find Golf de l’Odet, an undulating partly wooded 18 hole and 9 hole course, along with driving range and putting green.

With miles of glorious rugged coastline, fantastic beaches, and pretty towns to explore, Brittany offers a unique combination of activities, enough to keep all of the family occupied.
A 10 minute drive north brings you to Quimper. Stretching along the banks of the river Odet, Quimper is the ancient capital of la Cornouaille.
A visit to the mediaeval cathedral is a must, take time to explore the cobbled streets lined with Tudor style housing. The city is popular for its street markets on a Wednesday and Saturday - worth a visit for the smells alone! With a host of shops, cafés and restaurants this makes for a wonderful day out.
Pont Aven is a charming coastal town, used for centuries as a summer retreat for artists such as Monet and Gourgin, a truly beautiful place with lots to see including small art galleries and well-marked wooded walks alongside the fast flowing river.
Pointe du Raz is the most westerly point of France. It is a national site of scientific interest and is one of the world’s truly wild and mystical places with its dramatic seas.
Head to ‘La Torche’ for surfing and body boarding, a great place to take a kite or take a refreshing stroll to watch the surfers.
Concarneau, is the prettiest walled city in Brittany, stroll through the streets of the ancient walled town with its shops, restaurants and chocolate factory.
